As I sit here listening to Stuart Scott's last ESPY speech, I realize that it's not what we own, where we've traveled or what pieces of paper we hang on our wall. What matters is how we are living our life DAILY, what connections we make and keep and how we love those that truly matter. Choose wisely, choose with purpose and intent. Choose to love YOUR life and invite more people into it to serve, love and protect.


I'm passionate about a lot of small things that up a large life. I love the sun on a crisp, cold morning, the smell of dove soap in the shower, a new decorating magazine, sweet tea, positive stories in the news, a huge Dallas Cowboys win, a steak cooked perfectly, a college basketball game, a harley ride, the smell of freshly brewed coffee, NFL football, a kiss that seems to last for eternity, a good workout, a great conversation. Ronald Reagan :) and a stogie once in a while and most of all, the presence of God showing through in my everyday life. I look for the joy in the small things because without that, there really isn't a big picture. Go Duke, Yankees and Cowboys!!!
