I moved from Sunny Southern California where I have lived most of my life to join my family in North Carolina.

I have not done much exploring since I have been here, but NC seems to be a very beautiful green place.

I am finding that what is the most challenging since I arrived is being able to navigate. In California my navigation skills consisted of either heading to the ocean, mountains the desert or Mexico as my north, south east west. Or I would manage by recognizing what was in the area. But North Carolina is covered in trees. I still can't get used to seeing trees along the free way. What a trip! You can go for miles in Ca without seeing a single tree.



I have not had much of an opportunity to experience the wonderful southern hospitality North Carolina is famous for. So far I have only been to church and Wal - Mart . So here I am, filling out a profile, so I can get my Italian mother off my back and to stop her from pimping me out to every doctor, firefighter, construction worker or basically any man over 45 with a pulse she meets (very embarrassing)





I am more of a sunflowers over roses kind of gal. I am frugal with money debt free and don't have credit cards. . You most often will find me in jeans and a tee shirt, although, I have been told I clean up nice in a dress and heels.



I have a very creative side which is a great contradictory to my analytical side. I am cautious by nature. I take time to consider all the angles. If you ever been on a shopping trip with me it can take me an hour to pick out a salad dressing. But once I find the right one, I am committed.



I am a very good cook and enjoy cooking and eating healthy, I try to stay active and I am pretty fit for 50. . I have a curvy figure being neither fat or thin. I am height weight proportionate. If you are expecting me to look like a thirty year old you need to wake up and smell the reality of being 50.



My guy would have to be strong minded but flexible. Confident in his decision making but open to discussion. I don't think I am always right, but I may want to debate with you why you think your idea is better. Just convince me. I like to know you have thought things through.





I am a dog over cat person. I think cats are selfish. They have that "what's in for me attitude". I am missing my dogs and horses so much. I had to leave them behind when I left California. I would like to meet another animal lover, one that does not mind having a dog in the house.



I like funny personalities best. Keep me laughing and we will get along great. Relaxed, confident, considerate and grateful are qualities I admire in a man. My right guy will be strong and confident and be able to lead, yet know when to be sensitive and flexible. It's a tough job, but it shouldn't feel like work. But like the right salad dressing once I find the right one, I'm committed.



I am open to being interested in just about anything. I think that is easy to do when you are in good company. And would not mind sharing what interests you. I also believe a man needs some "Man time" so I don't expect you to be glued to my side. So go have fun with the other cave men, miss me when you are gone and we can catch up later.



I love the lord and he leads my life. I would like to be with someone were their faith is a priority and not just a title or a box that is checked under religion.
