I am a very social person who likes spending time with friends and family. The more the merrier! I come from a larger extended family, so the concept of family is important to me. I can enjoy watching a variety of sports(Hockey being one of my favorites!) I enjoy being out and about as well spending an afternoon over coffee or drinks with friends. I actively volunteer in my community with the Junior League. My philosophy on life is to treasure every moment you have because life is precious, and do something everyday to make someone's day brighter. Even if it is something small like holding the door for someone or just a smile can brighten someone's day... : ) I would like to think that I am a mix of a person who knows when to take things seriously and when to laugh. I think it is important to have that balance in life. I feel the same about work as well. It is important to have ambition, but there is a difference between working to live and living to work. I am a firm believer in not agreeing with someone and still having the ability to engage in a discussion on the point of disagreement. When it comes to what I am looking for in someone....hmmm.....It's a somewhat loaded question but, I'll give it a shot...Someone who values friends and family is a good start. Positive attitude is a must! Ambition and direction is a quality I admire. Someone who enjoys nights out on the town, but can also enjoy quiet nights as well would be a great match. I am not so interested in the "what" vs. the "who" of a person. In other words, what a person does or does not have is of a lesser priority than are "we" enjoying each other's company. Isn't that what counts in a good relationship, anyhow? Either way I figure if nothing else perhaps I can meet a few new great friends!
